The Ivy Park collection was named after her daughter Blue Ivy and the Park represents Parkwood Park in Houston where Beyoncé would work out every day growing up.The Adidas x Ivy Park collection features unisex items range that range from sizes xxxs- 4x and prices that start at $25 and go up to $200.The designs for Drip 2.2 are similar to the last two drops; biker shorts, shorts bras, a jumpsuit, sweats, fanny packs, and more. Besides all the cute clothes there were also the sneakers which were mostly all of the main Adidas sneakers but with Ivy Park colors so they did not feel super exclusive but they were super cute. Everything was very cute and really great quality. The only thing that's really changed is the colors. And omg it sold out super quick!
Y'all I love me some Ivy Park first of all! Why do I love it so much and why did I invest so much because I feel like Beyoncé is for the culture. She really makes her collection for the people. The clothes were affordable with meaning. It is a way to connect to Beyoncé without meeting her. I love how she does so much research to provide knowledge as well as fashion.. According to Beyoncé the line is inspired by Inner Beauty, Strength, and Resilience.
In my opinion, the Black Drip collection (2.2) represents a sexy, Black Panthers with a gold collar and the fact that she paired the collection with the black and gold, this was special. Black and gold are associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the color psychology of gold implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance. ... Black is the color of the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, creating an air of mystery.
The first collection Drip 2.0’s colors included four colors: green, peach, lime green, and teal. That rich green is on the African flag and green is a color that represents balance and growth. It represents wealth, self-reliance and harmony. The peach color is associated with friendship and caring and lastly the teal. Teal is associated with spiritual healing, optimism, and calm. Teal/ turquoise is my favorite color and one of the main reasons is because of the way I feel when I see it. I have always felt connected to turquoise I think because it’s my birthstone.
I was made to wear this collection and I always felt so sexy and proud to show off all the looks. The colors were vibrant and I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
